Asgeir grew up just outside of Trondheim, Norway. Prior to going to college in the US, Asgeir started his college education at NTNU in Trondheim. While completing his two first years of University he played for Kolstad Fotball in the Norwegian Second division.

Asgeir attended Caldwell University outside of New York City for his final two years of university. While at Caldwell, the program set school records for most wins and for least goals conceded. Asgeir was Freshman of the year his first year and made the regional team, both academically and athletically, for both his years at Caldwell. After college, Asgeir continued to take his coaching diplomas whilst playing for Kolstad. In his final years at Kolstad, he worked as a Coach Developer within the club.

In 2008, Asgeir moved permanently to the US. In addition to working at a middle school in New Jersey,  he has continued to work as a football coach.

From 2009 to 2012. Asgeir worked for the New York Red Bulls as a youth coach. In 2012, he went back to his alma mater and took on the Caldwell University Men’s Soccer head coaching position. Asgeir was the head coach for Caldwell for eight seasons before he retired in January 2019.

Asgeir has extensive knowledge about the US college soccer system. He has first-hand knowledge of what happens from a coach’s perspective in the recruitment process. He has visited many college campuses and knows college head coaches across the North East personally. He also has first-hand experience in living life as an international student, as well as recruiting International athletes. .

Markus grew up outside of Oslo, Norway, and represented Bærum SK in Norway both at the youth and the mens level. In 2018, Markus received an offer to Davis & Elkins, a nationally recognized soccer program, in West Virginia where Markus would make an impact.  As a freshman in 2018, Markus was nominated Freshman of the Year. The following year, he secured a spot on the NCAA All Conference First Team, adding another milestone to his journey.

After leaving his mark on West Virginia, Markus headed to the West Coast, signing for San Francisco State University in 2020. He lead the team as the captain and graduated with a 4.0 GPA in Business Administration.

After graduating from his bachelor's in 2022, Markus received and excellent offer from California State University, Los Angeles, the #1 nationally ranked men's soccer team, where he would pursue his master's degree in IT.

In many ways, Markus is a unicorn in college soccer; he has played for three prestigious colleges in three different locations, and he as two degrees to show for it. Markus stands as a testament to the possibilities that unfold when choosing the US. Through transferring twice, experiencing 3 different universities, and pursuing two degrees, Markus has learned how the American college process works.

CFC is thrilled to have Markus as a part of the team and is looking forward to having him as a pillar in your college search.
